Rely is working full force in preparation for Glint's first full-length release entitled "Mode To Joy." After 5 months of hard work and about 1400 hours of recording time later, Rely Records is nearing the production end of Glint's debut full-length masterpiece "Mode To Joy." Aside from the great pleasure of working with producer Jordan Lehning and engineering guru "Bagsby,"
Glint was also blessed to work with Grammy award-winning mixing engineer Jason Lehning in Nashville, TN. Expect some sneak peaks sometime next month and visit glintonline.com for all future updates. Rely would also like to congratulate bassist Dylan Kelehan for cementing the Glint line-up, check out these guys when they rock the fields at Cape Cod's may day festival on 5/1/06!

12.08.05
Its been a while since our last news update, but rest assure that it will be worth the wait. Over the last month, Rely Records has secured a new magical spot for the creation of Glint's upcoming album, a historic mansion-like firehouse, residing in the outskirts of Boston, Massachusetts. Over the last month, Rely and the help of its production team has installed a professional recording studio in a building that boasts twenty foot ceilings. Tracking will begin next week, and and be sure to check back for studio updates from the band and management. The crew anxiously awaits to record the new material, in fact, a good chunk of the album is a direct result of hibernation & song-writing that stems from the mystical charm of the firehouse's 1800's character.
On a side note, during the course of this move, two great reviews came in on behalf of the "Discpline" E.P.. Music guru, David McPherson, from Indie-Music.com, speaks very highly of the E.P., "With echoes of Canada’s Our Lady Peace, combined with some hints of Coldplay’s atmospheric rock and the Dave Matthews Band’s penchant for letting the grooves take them where they may, Glint still manage to put forth their own original sound." Read the full article here. Not only is Discipline receiving airplay in the states, but internationally as well. Andy Lewis, the DJ of his very own radio show in the UK called "pipeline radio" calls the E.P. a success and can't wait for the full album to "hit his doorstep". Read that excerpt here.
Check back soon for updates on Glint's latest creative efforts.
10.13.05
Rely Records has paired Glint and pprdoucer Jordan Lehning along with engineer Dave "Bagsby" Broslovsky. Check back for more details and visit glintonline dot com for album news, weekly video clip updates, and exclusive inside views of the project.

Sorry for being out of the loop for a couple weeks... but the good news is that Rely has A LOT of great stuff around the corner! The chemist is busy at work revamping the entire Rely Records website, creating brand new user interactive artist pages for Cody Marks and Glint, in addition to designing a much more user friendly and intuitive website for Relay (which will be up and running at www.relaymusic.com at the end of the month).
Amongst all the new technology development that is underway, Rely has been investing countless hours in the recording of Glint's upcoming E.P. The band and staff are ecstatic about the results thus far, and we can't wait to provide you previews of shortly! Rely is editing some "In The Studio" video clips, which will be posted soon on the site, capturing Glint's magic in the studio, alluding to some of the unique and artistic proprietary techniques used in the recording process. Stay tuned for the series.
Beginning of May: Expect to hear Glint's first musical masterpiece and post/explore the first official Glint website.
In live news for Glint, the band played a remarkable show at one of Boston University's finest fraternity houses (props to Kappa Sig!)... Rely set up one of the first monthly live music events called "Klub nitE," which featured more booze than you can imagine, live music by Glint, and live DJ'ing by our very own DJ Mad. Two hours into the night, and close to 750 beers later, the entire place was packed from wall to wall. Glint played a phenomenal set and the crowd entertained the music, but couldn't get enough... We gave out Glint T-Shirts, the band rocked out with some new material, and played a kick-ass cover of Zep's "Good Times Bad Times". Of course we had to keep some of the enebriated sorority girls from crashing the stage in between songs, but it was all in good fun. The band and crew had a great night... the first Rely "blue thumbprint" party was a huge success, and we built up an extensive collection of fans on the Glint mailing list. We will post some video clips and photos from the night.
As far as other live news, we will be posting information about live shows and tours as soon as we confirm some dates. Certainly expect many great events featuring the music of Glint and Cody Marks.
Cody's latest album has been stirring up talk in the music industry... We congratulate Cody on her recent endorsement by Daisy Rock Guitars (which lis a damn good match for our Cody) and her number one single "Heaven." Bobby Pinson, who co-wrote "Heaven" with Cody has been debuting in the top five country charts! Expect a lot of live action from beautiful Miss Marks as well because she has been asked to perform at The Viper Room, the debut of brand new club in Hawaii, and play with the Young Dubliners (just to name a few). Both Cody and Glint will be playing many shows across the United States this summer, we will have dates and details posted as soon as they are finalized!
03.14.05
Happy Pi Day everyone! Just kidding. Rely has been extremely busy getting everything together for the release of Glint's E.P. and Cody's debut album; we are booking shows from Boston to Hawaii, and later this week we will have the new artists' sections of the website up and running, so check back!
02.21.05
Glint and Cody played a phenomenal show last Thursday at the Spider Club. Intially joined by celebrity guests like Oscar De La Hoya, and capping the night with the Jack Black entourage, Rely's evening in Los Angeles was a great success. We thank everyone who came together to help put on a great show. Glint developed a lot of new fans from all over, including England, and made some great connections with other musicians like Gabriel Mann, who we hope to do future shows with. They were the only act who performed an encore, and the band played the most powerful versions of "Machine Man" to close the night. Cody gave an extraordinary performance as well to an extremely packed crowd. Joined by special guest David Williams and friends, the acoustic band and backup singers did a tremendous job in supporting Cody's musical expressions. Following some of the live acts were poetry, prize give-aways, and Burlesque dancing, and all proceeds went to the Tsunami Relief Fund. Check back shortly for video clips, music clips, and pictures of the event!
02.17.05

Glint probably has played the best two shows of their career this past Wednesday and Thursday in Hollywood, California, and, is beginning to see the first glimpses of light of a very promising future ahead of them...
Beginning with an unplugged show at the packed, famous Rainbow Room on Sunset Blvd., Glint delivered an extraordinary unplugged set and "made many new fans" according to booking agent Les Faegen, who has been booking some of the biggest bands in history (including Guns & Roses, etc.) in Los Angeles for over twenty years. Immediately following the set, Les spoke to manager Michael Branning about "bringing these guys back for several major shows." The Rainbow Room was filled, and the crowd loved it... The band and Rely give a special thanks to friend and tour assistant Chris Paulson for making the night amazing as usual. Rely has some great footage of Glint Unplugged, and will be releasing it on DVD in the next week.
Glint also played an amazing show with another great band, 6AM Eternal, at The Passage on Thursday evening. Glint played one of the tightest sets captured on film to date, and is extremely pleased with the results of both shows. Glint drove in people off the street as they were playing, and impressed all, including Producer Kerry Furlong of McGee/Proffer, who might possibly work with Glint on their first album. The footage from The Passage will be released on DVD as "Glint: Two Nights In Los Angeles," and even though it is still in post production, video director Adam Jordan is extremely anxious for the first screening and says "its the best and most moving performance Rely Productions has captured on film to this day." Rely Records sends out its congratulations to Glint, Michael Branning, Adam Jordan, and Chris Paulson for making these shows possible. Check back here and at www.glintonline.com for upcoming photos and video footage.
08.25.04
Glint will be shooting another Rely Records rooftop music video of their new hit single, "Selfless Convulsion." Check back soon on the site for the music video premiere. We are very excited to be given this opportunity to film in such a great location, on top of one of Hollywood's tallest buildings.
08.24.04
Glint has been in rehearsal all day at Swinghouse Studios, getting in gear for the Hollywood shows. The band is in prime form and excited about the unplugged show at The Rainbow, because it will be something new for them, and Glint's manager, Michael Branning, is very impressed with the acoustic sound. Glint happened to be joined by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and rumor has it, that Glint might open up a date or two on their next tour.
08.21.04
The Rely Blue Team and Glint Street Teams are making way on the streets of Los Angeles this weekend and next week in preparation for Glint's Los Angeles debut. Awaiting much anticipation, the band has been in rehearsals these last few weeks. Be sure to come and check out what local New York City critics hail to be "remarkably innovative, and captivating." Glint's unique sound is hard to describe, but some call it "a mix of the Pixies, Depeche Mode, and Pink Floyd." Aside from creating frequencies that have already been making waves in Boston and New York City, Glint is also notorious for its inimtable jams and promnent use of jazzy piano solos, which finally adds a new dimension to modern rock music.
Hear Glint first on Wednesday, August 25th unplugged at the Rainbow Room (9015 Sunset Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90069) at 10:30PM. For a hard rockin' night, come to Glint's show on Thursday, August 26th at The Passage (6752 Hollywood Blvd. Hollywood, CA 90028) at 9:00PM. Be there to see this hot act from New York City.
08.20.04

08.10.04
Rely Records is very pleased to have the opportunity to work with artist Cody Marks. Cody Marks has already been making a name for herself in Los Angeles with not only her gorgeous looks, but beautiful voice and songs.
